Meeting Minutes 02/18/2015

CPC Meeting called to order at 7:10pm
Members Present: Tom Hickey, Allan Clemons, Bob Sears, Laura Fitzgerald-Kemmett,
Patty Norton
absent: Robert Overholtzer, Tricia Marini Glenn, Brad Kirlin, John Kemmett,
Kenny Mitchell
We had no meeting in January for lack of quorum. December meeting minutes were
approved. Motion made by Bob Sears and 2nd by Allan Clemons.
CHAIRMAN'S REPORT – Laura received our dues from the Coalition of $875.
that was the same amount as last year and she signed approval and sent for payment.
Laura, also, received a bill for bonding insurance for the work at Boteiri Field and we all
thought it was included in the bid – or should be – so Laura will talk to Merry before
approving.
Old Business:
Thomas Mill sign- Allan will get design for March meeting and thinks the 3 signs
– 2x3 – should be under $1,000.
Bonney House- Allan has cleaned out the back room. Allan stated it was $6,800 for the
beam and the floor for the back room should be $17,000. Allan has boards for floors and
we may be able to reuse. Then, Allan and Patty thought the next phase would be
the interior of the Bonney House and maybe about $35,000 for HVAC, plumbing and
electrical. Laura would like Allan to talk about 5-10 minutes on the Bonney House
at CPC April Open Forum and maybe do a show and tell on items we are trying to
preserve.
Outdoor fitness center- no information but they will be at the Forum
Robinson Field- on hold
Camp Kiwanee: Will be at the March 11, 2015 meeting
New Business:
Motion was made by Patty for Laura to put place holders for the Town Meeting in May
for the Bonney House, Historic Property and Camp Kiwanee Cabins – Seconded by
Allan.
Allan Clemons presented a pre-application for $25,000 for the final phase of the
Bonney House exterior and structure – floors and rafters- motion made to accept
pre-application by Bob Sears and seconded by Allan Clemons.
On the survey Laura will reword #1 and #7 as well as preface where the dollars
come from and what's usage is.
Laura will check with Merry if we could put up a bulletin board with pictures
from CPC and our news.
Patty to check into temporary signage since she showed photos of what they do
in Yarmouth. We also discussed signage for the baseball field.
